You’ve seen the ads. "Blocks 99% of heat!" "Makes your car feel like an icebox!" "NASA technology!" and my personal favorite "You can't See in but looks like regular glass looking out". Lie, Lie , Lie.. Let’s cut through the noise. I’ve been tinting cars in Syracuse for 16 years, and I’m going to tell you the truth that other shops won't:

Ceramic tint is not magic.

The Reality Check: Does ceramic film reject more heat than standard film? Yes. Is it worth paying $800+ it? Absolutely not.

Many shops use confusing numbers (like IR Rejection vs. TSER) to trick you into thinking their film defies the laws of physics. They want you to believe that if you buy ceramic film, you won't need air conditioning and that is a lie. They love to say that the inside of your vehicle will be cool even when sitting parked in the sun. That is a lie.

The Tint Squad Promise: We do not sell ceramic film because it does not perform better. It will not protect your interior and keeps you cooler. We don't sell the hype. We charge a fair price for a high-quality product, and we install it perfectly.

Don't pay for the marketing fluff.
